1. How consent works
Necessary technologies operate without optional consent because they provide a feature you request or record your privacy choice. Analytics and marketing technologies remain disabled until you select them. “Reject optional” is available with the same prominence as “Accept all”. You can reopen the preference panel from any footer.
2. Necessary storage
| Name | Type and duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
gok-locale | First-party cookie · up to 1 year | Remembers the language selected or detected for the next visit. |
gok-landing-consent | Local storage · up to 6 months | Stores analytics and marketing choices, policy version and time of choice. |
gates-of-krystalia-hero-hand-v1 | Session storage · current session | Avoids showing exactly the same curated card hand on consecutive page loads. |
Hosting or security infrastructure may also set strictly necessary technical identifiers when needed to protect and deliver the site.
3. Analytics
If you allow analytics but not marketing, the site loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-N0ZQZW6YT7. It can use first-party identifiers such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and generate aggregate usage statistics. Google’s current retention and cookie details apply.
4. Marketing and campaign measurement
If you allow marketing, the site loads Google Tag Manager container GTM-MZ7V2559. That container can activate Google Analytics and campaign pixels from Meta, TikTok, Reddit and Quora, plus AWeber’s analytics script. These providers may read or set identifiers such as _fbp, _fbc, _ttp, _tt_enable_cookie, _rdt_uuid or comparable technologies. Their own policies determine any additional names and maximum retention.
Marketing is linked to analytics in the preference panel because the current campaign container also performs measurement. Choosing analytics alone does not load advertising pixels.
5. Withdrawing consent
Open “Cookie preferences”, switch off the optional categories and save. The page reloads so previously loaded scripts stop running, and the site attempts to remove known first-party analytics and marketing cookies. You can also clear site data in your browser. Third-party data already sent before withdrawal is handled under the relevant provider’s policy and applicable law.
6. Browser controls and updates
Browser settings can block or delete cookies, but blocking necessary storage may stop the website from remembering your language or choices. We update this list when the site’s technologies change. For questions, use the contact details in our Privacy Policy.
